Eminem album leaked and World cup is here!!

So two huge things happened this week, the new eminem album was leaked and the world cup has begun, and both have got me more excited than expected. The two songs which really stand out from the album are 'No love' feat lil wayne and 'Love the way you lie' featuring Rihanna. Lil wayne is back to his best in 'no love' with finally some new material from him where autotune has not been used. Whereas bursts of eminem help transform a song from what would have been a generic Rihanna song to a gritty piece.

With the world cup starting along comes plenty of anthems not including the national ones. The official world cup song is a beauty and the best for some time.

More Than Alot

So picked up the Chase & Status re-release yesterday More Than Alot and let me just say that it is filled to the brim with big tunes in the words of Sum 41 'All killer no filler'. The new addition of More Than Alot comes along with three of their best tracks including heartbeat, a song i posted earlier on this blog. So if your into your dubstep or/and dnb its a must have for your collection.

How long not long 'cos what you reap is what you sow.

So yesterday my ticket for the free RATM gig came in the post and it could well be the best gig I go to this year depending on The Libertines performance at Reading. Unfortunately i'll be missing Gallows :( who are one of the best small live bands out there. The first and only time i've seen Rage is at reading in 2008, which was one of the best gigs i've ever seen with Queens of the stone age supporting. Anyway i'll leave you with the song that made this free gig possibly and a pretty nice mash up with beck.

NEW KANYE WEST: POWER

The new Kanye West song 'power' was leaked today feat. Dwele, which to be honest doesn't seem to have taken him very long time to write, with a very simplistic marching like beat. Also two sweet new (relatively) remix's from Mustard Pimp (filled with sweet drops) and Boys noize. Enjoy.

Starting off with three dubstep remixs the first coming from Zeds Dead and their remix of 'Eyes on fire' by blue foundation. The second track is Flux Pavilion's version of DJ Fresh's 'Gold dust'. Finally the drum and base duo Chase & Status have a go at Nneka's 'Heartbeat'.
